Gerogery

Gerogery, New South Wales, is a small village and has some interesting attractions. Let me share a few with you:

Gerogery Doll Museum:
Located at 14 Main Street, Gerogery, the Gerogery Doll Museum is a magical place that houses antique dolls, prams, and model cars dating back to the 1880s. The collection includes over 1600 antique and modern dolls, including the largest Barbie doll ever made. You can explore this unique museum and immerse yourself in the world of dolls.

Wiesners Swamp Nature Reserve:
If you’re a nature enthusiast, consider visiting the Wiesners Swamp Nature Reserve. It’s a protected area that conserves the natural environment, Aboriginal country, culture, and heritage. The reserve is located near Walla Walla, New South Wales.

Tabletop Nature Reserve:
Another nearby attraction is the Tabletop Nature Reserve, situated in Gerogery. Like Wiesners Swamp, it’s also managed by a government agency dedicated to preserving the environment and heritage.

Gerogery itself has a rich history, including its role as a transportation hub for the wheat and wool industry. The architecture of the station master’s house, the Gerogery Pub, and Commemoration Hall are also noteworthy. Enjoy your exploration of this vibrant village at the base of Table Top Mountain!
